Tansu House | Architect: Olson Kundig
This house is named for the transformative qualities that make it both a private residence as well as a venue for entertaining. Located on the shores of the Salish Sea, this house is positioned to maximize water views and natural light. A simple elegance unites the interior and exterior elements of the two-story cedar-clad home whose understated palette features custom hardware, steel accents, and large interior sliding panels, which evoke traditional Japanese tansu cabinetry.
