Cabinetmaker & Woodworking Specialist
Dovetail is a high-craft general contractor with a custom wood fabrication shop looking to hire a motivated wood fabricator / cabinetmaker with two--to-five years of direct experience in a cabinet or furniture shop (not an on-site finish carpenter). Dovetail’s wood shop supports architecturally significant residential and commercial projects, providing custom kitchens, casework, stairwells, soaking tubs, bars, furniture, doors, and other specialty objects. Our wood shop is FSC certified.

Lead Cabinetmaker & Woodworking Specialist
We’re hiring a lead cabinetmaker and architectural woodworking specialist who is passionate and motivated with five-to-ten years of direct experience in a cabinet or furniture shop (not an on-site finish carpenter). Dovetail’s Wood Shop supports architecturally significant residential and commercial projects, providing custom kitchens, casework, stairwells, soaking tubs, bars, furniture, doors, and other specialty objects. Our wood shop is FSC certified.

Experienced Lead Carpenter
Dovetail is hiring an experienced lead carpenter. Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent craftsmanship, commitment to quality, leadership skills, and a willingness to bring your best. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7-years experience working in high-end residential construction, and is well-versed in all phases of building and finish carpentry, including windows and doors, envelope, interior and exterior trim, finish, and cabinet & casework installation. Must have highest standards for safety, site cleanliness, professionalism, and a passion for your craft. There are opportunities to grow into foreman and superintendent positions.

Metal Fabricator
Dovetail is hiring a detail-oriented, architectural metal fabricator with a minimum of 5 years of experience building custom metal from shop drawings to installation, with patina finishing skills. Candidates must demonstrate a team spirit and positive attitude, a commitment to craftsmanship and quality, a willingness to learn and bring your best. Must have high standards for communication, safety, site cleanliness, professionalism, punctuality, and a passion for your craft. Be a pro-active problem solver who is ready to create and install architecturally significant metalwork throughout western Washington.
