This waterfront residence on an ECA steep slope site consists of structural steel moment frames and architectural concrete walls. Large expanses of windows were achieved using Milgard aluminum windows and custom aluminum mullions. Additional operable slide-fold door systems help integrate interior and exterior spaces. Exterior siding consists of Sil-Leed cement panels and custom-milled tongue-and-groove cedar. Milestone floors with radiant heat provide interior comfort, while PVC roof and deck membranes create a waterproofing system. Photos: Mark Woods
