Artist in Residence | Heliotrope Architects

This new residence is distinguished by a contrast in forms - a contemporary floating gable juxtaposed with a modern cube. The house utilized radiant heating throughout, as well as a green roof of succulents. The window package is a mix of Quantum windows made from Douglas fir paired with Lowen windows of aluminum clad fir. The custom kitchen includes walnut countertops and the primary bath features an ofuro, a custom cedar Japanese soaking tub. | Photos: Benjamin Benschneider
